Austin Wedding Transportation Do’s and Dont’s

Your wedding transportation can play many different roles at the celebration. Whether you’re looking for a shuttle solution for your guests or you simply need a vehicle to transport the wedding party from one spot to another, you want to make sure you’re hiring the best company for the job. We’re here with a list of do’s and don’ts when it comes to reserving your wedding transportation. This should make it a lot easier to navigate and narrow down all of the options that are available to you in Austin!

Don’t underestimate how important it is to have a reliable transportation service during your wedding. Your transportation can make or break the tight itinerary you’ve worked so hard to organize for this major life milestone. The last thing you want is to put your trust (and hard earned money) into the hands of a company who doesn’t take the event seriously.

Do make an effort to head out to the companies location to check out the vehicle that you’re interested in. This gives you an opportunity to really look closely at the vehicle and ensure that it is clean and up to date. Otherwise, you really don’t have any way of knowing what is going to show up.

Don’t assume that the price given to you is all inclusive unless you’ve discussed that thoroughly with a customer service representative. A lot of times, companies add in fees for things like gas, tip to the chauffeur, tax, or even mileage. The ideal company lets you know about all of these charges so there are no surprises.

Make sure you do give the transportation company an updated list of destinations you want to go to on your wedding day, like the venue site and places where you plan on taking pictures with the wedding party. This give them a chance to prepare and make sure they know how to get there efficiently and details about where to park the limousine or Austin Party Bus.

Don’t book with a company that is hard to communicate with, or one that doesn’t have an accessible website. Both of these things can tell you a lot about a business! You want to be able to get the information you need in a timely fashion instead of constantly waiting for a call back or turning up at a dead end when you’re doing your research online.
